climb every mountain
I conquered the highest mountain last Saturday.
To reach the Summit, i had to overcome the 10 steps.
It was the most difficult mountain. more difficult than the Everest.
"Climb every mountain, ford every stream.
Follow every rainbow, till you find your~dream~~~"
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Actually, I went to the cyberport cinema to watch a movie. This was the very first time for me to go for a movie after the injury. I thought most of the theatres had their entrance at the back of the theatre. So I booked the seats at the last second row. However, this was not the same at cyberport. The entrance was made somewhere near the screen. So I had to climb the stairs with crutches. Anyway, I made it.

weekend film club
The weekend film club is on. We have watched some good movies. Thanks to my father's DVD. It did a good job skipping the disc errors.

Interesting. Must watch "behind the screen". The director makes a very interesting comment about Daniel's role.
Crying Out Love in the Centre ofthe World 在世界中心呼喚愛
Read the book after or before the movie.

makes you laugh. I like the penguin in the film.
Les Choristes (The Choir Boys)
I like young Pépinot, especially when he showed a very contented smile after his neighbour gave him the answer of 5 + 8.

Fantasy fictions
Ordinary people live in the real world. Nothing special or adventurous in everyday life.
This is one of the reasons why fantasy fictions always have their roles to play. In these novels and fictions, we see the characters grow and change. As a bystander, the readers are nurtured themselves while reading the stories.
JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is the classic. I tried to read it when I was in secondary school but I gave it up after reading the first ten pages. Anyway, I still have not picked it up again. The film tells all.
JK Rowling's Harry Potter is not bad. Though most think the teenager Harry is no longer an adorable character. But I like Potter growing into a tempest.
The Books of Earthsea by Ursula Le Guin are adventures of wizards and priests. The most interesting part of Le Guin's writing is that she bring the ideas of Daoism in her stories. Most of the adventure stories put the focus on manhood and brotherhood. But Le Guin has created a heroine who plays a mjor role in the stories. Her creation of this character does not simply show her role as a supporter of the heros. She has a voice of her own.

About an adventure of a sherpard. The title tells all.About finding the art of alchemist. The treaure is where your heart is.
Chronicle of Narnia -- C. S. Lewis
heard that it was a good book. Young children like it.

The cover looks like Harry Potter, so I thought it was HP, I skipped it. Maybe the film is good. The webpage is quite interesting. The illustration is great.
Howl's Moving Castle -- Diana Wynne Jones
A very interesting book. The story is mainly about Sophies who does not realise she has magic power. she was cursed by a witch in her willage. Sophie was turned into an old lady and she occupied Howl's moving castle. Quite interesing. Young girls like the story very much.

Today lost in tune
I tried to pick up the guitar chords again.
The whole afternoon, I was tunning the guitar.
The meter told me the guitar was in the right tune.
But my ears could not find the tune.

it's going to be eight weeks after the operation.
the ankle is stiff as weeks ago.
the degree of flexing makes no improvement. Still showing a 90 degree right angle.
The weight training session is quite tough, though it takes just 6 minutes, I felt like losing most of my strength already.

a prayer -- teach me to listen
Teach me to listen, Lord.
to those nearest me...
my family, my friends, my co-workers...
Help me to be aware that no matter what words I hear,
The message is, "Accept the person I am, Listen to me".
Teach me to listen, Lord,
to those far from me...
The whisper of the hopeless,
The plea of the forgotten,
The cry of the anguished.
Teach me to listen, Lord.
To myself
Help me to be less afraid,
to trust the voice inside...
in the deepest part of me.

in busyness and bordom
in certainty and doubt

six weeks after
It is the sixth week.
I learn how to stand on the "bad" leg.
I feel good to stand on both legs again.
But I still have to hang on the crutches.
I have passed level one.
